May the man choose any path or technique or kriya for " Resloving of Life " ; all necessarly needs the " Controll " on one-self. Let us call this process of getting controll over one-self as " Swadhishtanam ".
Swadhishtanam basically contains two inner literal words i.e.,Swa+Adhishtanam.As everyone knows Swa means 'Own-self'(my-self);Adhishtanam means 'Command'.So, Swadhishtanam menas the "command of 'one-self to own-selfby own-self.To be precise and clear -- "Swadhishtanam is the practice of one-self for mastering own-self by his own efforts through a suitable and specified Process or Kriya ( Like Sambhavi Kriya ) "
The 'command' is not regarding a particular factor or a issue rather it is the wholesum of an individual's 'leading factors'.Look in to this "command" parameter with a new term "will"'fcator' of life,then you will be able to understand very well & everything will become crystal clear.
'Desire' is the 'seed of will; because, when you have a desire, you will plan and 'work' for fullfilling. And this 'work'will give you 'passion,pain,victory or defeat',which will become a litmus test to your 'will'. Hence I said you to imply 'will' as other name of 'command'.
Now, let us see, precisely, how this 'Command or Will generate in human body;What are all its habitats in a human body.To understand this first we must go for analytical study of 'Basics of Swadhishtanam'.
The Basics :
It is mandatory to us to have little perception about Basics of Swadhishtanam,before going to practice of Swadhishtana Yoga Kriya.,because it will throw light on Basics of Life i.e., Life Forces.
What are Constituents and Concepts of Matter that involve in Formation of a Living Being?
If we start an account from very begining of our ancient scriptures like Vedas, Bhagavadgeta, Saamkhya Yoga,and Postulates of all Vedanta schools,,it is agreed and postulated that human body is union & personification of Twenty Four Gunas.
They are ---
1. The five primary constituents of matter or Pancha Bhutas -- Earth,Water,Fire,Air,Aakash.
2. The five perceptions or Pancha Tanmatras --
3. The five sense organs or Jnanendriyas -- Eyes,Ears,Nose,Mouth,Skin.
4. The five organs of action or Karmendriyas -- Mouth,Hands,Legs,Urinogenital Organ,Anus.
5. The four internal organs or Antahkarana -- Chitta,Manas,Buddhi,and Ahamkara ( mind-stuff, the mind, the intellect,the ego-sense respectively).
These twenty four gunas will be enveloped in to a soul and the Soul is enwrapped by five kosas called Pancha Kosas. They Are ---
Now, The Soul which has twenty four gunas & which was wrapped in Pancha Kosas is a 'Material' but not a living being,,because it has all Life Principles but not " The Life Forces". When the "Life-Force" are induced into this "Life-Principlised-Matter" ,it will become a Living-Being. The Life Force whcih was induced; will devide in to five parts called as Pancha Pranas and will be distributed in body at Five different places with different functions.The Pancha Pranas and their respective functions are as follows ---
i) Prana- The Faculty of Perception.
ii) Apana - The Faculty of Excretion.
iii)Samana - The Faculty of Digestion.
iv) Vyana - The Faculty of Circulation.
v) Udana - The Faculty of Thinking.
The functions of these Major Pancha Pranas was assisted by five more Minor Pranas,They are ---
i) Naga correspond to Eructation and Hiccup.
ii) Kurma performs the function of Opening the Eyes.
iii) Krikara induces Hunger and Thirst.
iv) Devadatta induces Yawning.
v) Dhananjaya causes Decomposition of Body after death.
When the Pancha Pranas starts functioning, all the metabolic activities are performed, and, as well as sensory organs and nervous system too.
As the life starts the Pancha Bhuthas induces their prominant role and manifest their presence in life, and, at the peak momenta of life through an out-let called, ARISHADVARGAS.That is why Human is caught up in--emotions--Desire (kama), Anger (krodha), Greed (lobha), Infatuation (moha), Pride (madha) and Malice (matsarya), which are ruling factors of Human Life. Swadhishtanam is the "Practice by one-self to master own-self through regulation and maintainance of Pancha Pranas, thus, the mastery on pancha bhuthas siblings "Arishadvargas."
Now, let us see the practical aspects of Swadhishtanam Constituents,that,how it affects and makes the way for practicer to master these factors & constituents of living bod; when,we practice " Sambhavi Kriya "
Physiology of Sambhavi Kriya
When the Yogi starts Mounam, body will have two kinds of energies -- Static Energy and Kinetic Energy.
When sadhak has achieved Antharanga Mounam, major of kinetic energy will be concverted into static energy,but still traces of thoughts exists in brain, which uses minor portion of kinetic energy.
When yogi proceeds to Swasayamam Pancha Pranas get activation ( by cosmic energy & by oxygen),so the Pranas generate kinetic energy. This energy will pass onto pre-existing energy levels, which, gets amplifiction and restore to higher energetic levels. This high amplified energy was set into a pace,and thus Dharana starts.
In dharana yogi set this amplified energy levels toward one specified goal ( may be a deity or image or mantra or any holystic sound like "om"). When yogi is able to maintain a constatnt pace to this thought energy towards the specified goal,, he is set in Dhyanam or Meditation.
So in meditation there will be constant flow of amplified higher energy levels with a pace towards yogi's goal. As this constatnt flow becomes stable and deeper, slowly, the sadhak's Origin of energy levels will loose their Entity (Asthithva). This period of Loosing sadhak's Entity is called "Samadhi." If loss Of entity is accompanied by gain of entity, despite of voluntary action to loose entity, it is called as Savikalpa Samadhi. If the Loss of entity is "Stable" without interruption ( not getting interrupted by any kind of interruptions) it is called as Nirvilkalpa Samadhi,which is not only the ultimate but ancient goal of evey yogi of every cult and sect.
